Asset Studio is live!
With Layer's Asset Studio, artists can create compositions of any size, have fine grained control over every part of their asset, and produce production ready assets within minutes.
Layer now includes a detailed File Sidebar that can be accessed from the forge stream, Layer Drive, bookmarks or prompt history. The sidebar include a link to the style that generated the image, as well as parameters used for the generations.
There are also handy buttons to refine the image, by opening it in the Canvas to edit, forging variations of it or upscaling it.
If you don't like what you see after a refinement, you can always go back to your original version from the refinement dropdown.
We shipped several improvements to the Layer Drive to make it easier to manage your files, assets and styles.
You can now rename files and assets directly in Layer Drive. Simply right click on a file or asset, and select "Rename File" or "Rename Asset".
Layer Drive used to allow deleting files that were used in a style, causing issues when those styles were retrained. Now, we check and disallow deleting any files if they are used as inputs for a style.
You can now upload custom model weights with .safetensors or .ckpt extensions to your Layer Drive and use them just like any other Layer Style!
To upload custom models:
- Navigate to your Layer Drive and upload your weights as a new file.
- Right click on the file in the Drive and then click "Create style from file"
- Configure model parameters
- Click "Create Style"
- Profit!
